Waste Water Treatment Plant
Waste water treatment plant has started operation on 16.11.2009 and it has 40 m³/day water processing capacity.
Two step precipitation proces is carried out by waste water treatment plant. At the first step pH of water contaminated by metal ions is increased from 1-2 to 6.5-7 and heavy metals such as arsenic and antimony is precipitated in ferrous arsenate form. After the first-step precipitation is completed waste water is processed by filter press. Precipitation is filetered and semi-treated waste water is pumped to storage vessel. Semi-treated water is subjected to a second process. pH of the water is adjusted to 11 to precipitate the heavy metal ions as Ni,Cu and Zn that precipitates in basic pH range. Then it is filtered and the pH of the remaining water is adjusted between 6 and 9 and pumped to the garden for watering of trees.
Water treated in our waste water treatment plant is free of metal ions and has no harm to environment. As an evidence of this fact, fishes live in the pool where treated water is stored. İt is also used for watering trees. Our company has the waste water discharge certificate.
In addition, in waste water treatment plant, there exist a separate unit for destructing waste emulsions. Waste emulsions are processed in this unit so that oil and water phased are separated. So harmful wastes are not released to environment.
